WEEK 10

today is my last day at ecu it has been fun but i don't think im quite ready to take on uni yet i know for sure that i would not last long at uni so that is sort of a wake up call for me telling me i had better do good at school or elce i will never get the job i dream of

today me and the rest of my group started with a lecture theater were we dicused the propertys of end note. Endnote is a

today we learned about Information Management in the lecture. we learned that there are two main types of format; Bit-based and Atom-based both have there pros and cons and neither are better than the other while Bit-based format is easy to edit it harder to edit if your using Atom-based

WEEK 3

Today we learned about communications in today's lecture where we discussed the different ways people might use them. Communications take place within networks like:

• Chain Networks
• Circle Networks
• Wheel Networks
• All-channel Networks

We also discussed how many ways people can communicate using technology we learned that there are many different forms of communication like:

• E-mails
• M.S.N
• faxes
• telephone
• In online RPG games (e.g. World of Warcraft)

After the lecture I went to the library to wait until 3:25 so i could go to the computer lab. There i learned how to check my e-mails and put them in to folders to keep my self more organized. We also had a try at using the Google groups search for something that interested us.

WEEK 2

Today was my first week at ECU (apart from the time we had a big tour of the campus last Term) we had a lecture about how to make a presentation exciting we discussed the different codes that we could use to help with making a presentation more interesting we dicused how you should speak, use of hand gestures and also not overloading one presentation with information.

After the lecture i went to a computer lab and was taught by Gary how to us PowerPoint more effectively by using hot keys like

• ctrl+End=go to end of page
• ctrl+Home=go to the very start
• ctrl+M=new slide
• ctrl+N=new window

Also we learned how to change font and size of words in every slide without going to each one indvidualy we do this by first clicking on the View tab then going to Master then clicking on Slide Master.
